At Sanibel Vacations, we are actively monitoring COVID-19 and are taking every step to ensure our staff, guests and community are safe. This situation is continuously evolving, so be sure to check the CDC website and the Florida Department of Health for the most current information.
Here’s some highlights for what we are doing:
Every rental is thorough cleaned with sanitizers and disinfectant.
Pick up your check-in packet without any physical contact.
Any employee who displays symptoms of illness must stay home & seek medical attention.
The City of Sanibel is following the Phase 1 order for re-opening. That means that restaurants and stores are allowed to open at 25% capacity, outdoor dining is allowed while tables are six feet apart, and select beaches are open on the island. Wearing face masks has been strongly encouraged, especially when social distancing may not be possible. You may find that resort pools, common areas and community spaces have their own requirements for the protection of guests. Each association can implement rules to help keep guests safe and well. You can visit the CDC COVID-19 Travel page for their updates. If you decide to travel, please help us to take every precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
I have also attached photos to add throughout the page. We would like to remove the heading from the homepage offering 25% and replace that with a link leading to this COVID page.
