COVID-19 Update

At Sanibel Vacations, we are actively monitoring COVID-19 and are taking every step to ensure our staff, guests and community are safe. This situation is continuously evolving, so be sure to check the CDC website and the Florida Department of Health for the most current information.

Here’s some highlights for what we are doing:

  • Extensive Cleaning

Every rental is thoroughly cleaned with sanitizers and disinfectants and our housekeeping staff is also utilizing their fogging & electrostatic machine for added precaution. We have also added a disinfectant spray bottle to every property to allow our guest the ability to clean further as needed. Hand sanitizers are also provided to you at check-in! Your safety is our #1 priority!

  • Contactless Check-In

Pick up your check-in packet without any physical contact. While our office remains open and full operational, we have implemented contactless check-in for the safety our of all of our guests & staff! You’ll still check-in at our office but your welcome packet with property keys will be located in the lockbox outside! Grab & go & enjoy Sanibel!

  • Guest Safety

We are following all CDC guidelines. Any SBL employee who displays symptoms of illness must stay home & seek medical attention. Our office is practicing social distancing and masks are worn inside of the office. Our property inspectors and maintenance staff always wear masks while inside all of our rental properties. We are happy to do our part to ensure the safety of our Sanibel community and our guests!

The City of Sanibel is following the latest Phase 3 order at 100% re-opening. Mandatory masks have been mandated to be worn inside all establishments. Beaches remain open on the island. Restaurants and tourist facilities around the island are open. You may find that resort pools, common areas and community spaces have their own requirements for the protection of guests. Each condo association can implement rules to help keep guests safe and well. Be sure to social distance whenever possible and wash your hands! You can visit the CDC COVID-19 Travel page for their updates. If you decide to travel, please help us to take every precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We appreciate everyone’s patience at this time and understand that you may have more questions and concerns. Please do not hesitate to call us at 239-579-0348 or send an e-mail to [email protected]
