Pine Cove #204

Update following Hurricane Ian: We are so very happy to welcome you back to Pine Cove. This condo sustained minimal damages from the storm and all items & amenities INSIDE the unit have been repaired and/or replaced and it is ready for rentals. The Pine Cove Boardwalk is still under repair and the completion date is still unknown at this time. Access to the beach from this unit and complex will be available through the public beach access at the end of Tarpon Beach Road (next door to Pine Cove).

Get ready to unwind in style at Pine Cove 204. Plan your trip to stay in this newly re-furnished condo with stunning gulf front views. This condo offers a spacious floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a touch of coastal, beach styled decor throughout. Pair that with the endless shelling that awaits you just steps away and this condo is a true paradise! Your location on West Gulf Drive will have you anywhere you would like to go on island quickly, including Bailey’s, restaurants and more!

Condo amenities include: 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms -- 2 King beds & 2 Twin beds (sleeps 6), 3 Smart TVs (streaming only), free WIFI, shared heated pool & jacuzzi hot tub, in-suite washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grills, elevators, covered parking, pack-n-play (sheets not included) & highchair seat. No Pets allowed. Bed linens and Bath towels included. This unit comes stocked with beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella.

7 night minimum rental period is required. Pine Cove is a tobacco free, smoke & vape free property. This unit is non-smoking with a maximum occupancy of 6 people.

  The apartment was modern, clean, spacious, and beautiful with an oversized master suite and two additional bedrooms. It has a beautiful and spacious kitchen opening up to a lovely dining area and comfortable living room. The wrap-around porch also provides a wonderful space for relaxation.
  
  The only thing that could have made the stay more convenient is if the ‘starter kit’ was a bit more generous. The kit provides a tiny bottle of liquid dish soap, 2 garbage bags (not quite large enough for the container), and two dishwasher pods, which is not enough for 6 people staying for a full week. Also, since the condo has so many glass tables, it would have been really helpful if a spray glass/all-purpose cleaner was provided.
  
  Please note that although the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pans, pots, dishes, cutlery, etc., there are no other cooking essentials provided whatsoever (not even salt and pepper) – so you have to account for everything when you go shopping.

    Yaniv, thank you for the 5-star review of our condo! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at this beautiful property. The 'starter kit' is meant to be just that, a starter kit to get you going. Anything beyond that is to you to purchase for your stay. All of our guests, no matter how long they're staying get the same starter kit. We no longer provide seasonings, oil, etc. because of covid. We are sorry for the inconvenience and will do better to make that more obvious to renters moving forward.

  We enjoyed this unit after staying for several visits in the 2 BR units at Pine Cove. It was great to have the extra room. We were very pleased with everything with a couple of exceptions - the construction noise got annoying at times especially the first couple of days when roofers, landscapers and workers on the grill area were all making noise. There is one thing that needs repair - the tub drain in the master bath does not seal so does not hold water.
  The weather was perfect and our grandchildren loved the pool ad the beach. We stayed at Pine Cove most of the time but visited Tarpon Bay for fishing off a pontoon and Kayaking another day. And visited Wildlife Drive a couple of times. Plus our annual dinner at R.C. Otter's on Captiva which we all enjoy. (And we were fortunate that our flights went on time and were not cancelled!)

  This condo is even better than the photos. Clean, roomy, and it has everything you will need and more. I have stayed in Sanibel condos for many years. This one wins for nicest and most luxurious. The pool is as nice as any I have stayed in and it has a hot tub. They keep the pool clean on a daily basis. It is private but still very close to the ocean. I would give this an 11 on a scale of 1-10.

  We absolutely loved Pine Cove 204. It was spacious, well decorated, comfortable and safe. My husband and I took our three grandkids and it was perfect for our needs. It actually is nicer in person than the pictures. The view is amazing and the pictures definitely don't do it justice. My only suggestion is, with a glass dining table that there be spray cleaner and that a small salt and pepper be provided as part of the started pack.

  Finding a roomy three bedroom on Sanibel isn't easy! This unit is very spacious and updated. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the unit is well-equipped overall.   I really enjoyed our stay in this unit. It had everything that was necessary and what I look for in a vacation rental.
  
  The kitchen is fully stocked although I wish there were some plastic bags and tinfoil etc just for normal kitchen cooking tasks. (I am one of those who really does use a kitchen on vacation!)
  
  I am a bit of a Goldilocks when it comes to the bed and I was surprised at how comfortable this one was in the Master bedroom. (I prefer soft as I find it very difficult to sleep on a hard bed.)
  
  I do have a couple of complaints though. We could not get hot or even warm water out of the kitchen faucet and this was a problem. It made it almost impossible to do any dishes by hand. I had to put everything into the dishwasher to get clean. I did mention this to the rental service so not sure if it was addressed or not.
  
  My last complaint is that I really think the floor coverings could be cleaned or even replaced. The mats in the kitchen and bathroom were very dirty like they had never been washed before.
  
  Otherwise I love this unit.

  I have stayed multiple times at Pine Cove and love the location and relaxing atmosphere. I have never been disappointed with a rental at this location. Pine Cove 204 is I believe one of the best that I have rented. It is beautifully decorated with nice flooring and comfortable beds. Bathrooms are large and convenient. There were beach supplies available which is always a plus. Love the place and would rent here again.

  Great view of the gulf, pool and spa from the balcony of Pine Cove 204. Only a few steps to the beach where we saw truly brilliant sunsets and sunrises. All from the same spot.

  Very pleasant. Condo was lovely and spacious. The bathrooms were very nice. All of the appliances were updated and worked beautifully. The public areas were kept very clean. I would recommend that the owner get better beach chairs, and perhaps, a few more of them as well. There were only 2 beach chairs that were ok to use.
